How Policy Sync Works
ReComAI supports two automatic workflows, depending on when your policies are available.
Scenario 1: Policies Already Exist Before Installing the Chatbot

If your store already has policy and contact pages when you install ReComAI:
The system automatically scans your store URLs during onboarding
Policy content is collected and saved
The chatbot is trained automatically
Policies appear in the FAQs → Policies section with a Trained status
👉 No manual action is required
Your chatbot is ready to answer policy-related questions immediately.
Scenario 2: Policies Added or Updated After Installation
If you add or update store policies after the chatbot is already installed, you can easily sync them again.
How to Re-Sync Policies
Log in to your ReComAI Dashboard
Go to Knowledge Base → FAQs
Open the Policies section
Click Re-Sync Policies next to the policy you updated

What Happens Next?
The latest policy content is fetched from your store
Existing policy data is replaced
The chatbot is retrained automatically
Updated policy appears instantly in FAQs

Where to View Synced Policies
You can view all synced policies in:
Knowledge Base → FAQs → Policies
Each policy shows:
Training status
Last updated date
Delete option (if needed)
